Some easy tips to get your abs in tip-top shape!

1) Lay on your back and put a small ball on your sacrum(basically top of the tail bone), your feet flat on the floor and hands behind the head. Lean back over the ball, then crunch up to one side turning the upper body. Lean back over the ball and repeat lifting and turning to the other side. Do 25 reps of these. For quicker results try to do this twice a day.

2) Second exercise is the teaser. Start by sitting on the ground with your knees bent in front of you. Slowly start to c curve/lean back with a rounded spin so you are balancing on your bottom. Slowly start to lift the legs to a table top. (bended knees) try to hold this for 10 seconds, bring the feet down repeat 5 times. To make the exercise more challenging you can extend the legs strait in front of you to a 45 degree angle.  This will work middle to upper abs. Make sure your upper back stays nice and strait, no hunched shoulders or rounded upper back.

3) Plank, one of the simplest and most effective exercises for strengthening abdominal. To start come to your forearms (this helps to not put pressure on the wrists) extend one foot back behind you in a runners stance, then bring your belly up and in and put the other foot back. You are now in plank. Try holding for 20 seconds, each time you do this try to increase your time so you are holding the position longer and longer. 1 minute is best.  If you feel your back taking over bring your booty to the sky, or take a break 🙂
