Working with Aimee of A. Griffin Events for this lovely couple has been such a dream despite the many twists and turns with planning during a pandemic. We created a modern save the date set, designed the full invitation suite (but fortunately did not go to print on them!), then switched gears to create a save the new date plus an invitation for family only to the new backyard celebration taking place on the original wedding date. It was paper goods galore but the smaller quantity allowed us to make a piece that included both printed elements as well as original handwritten work.
For the wedding celebration itself, we hand painted canvases then hand-lettered over the top to create original art pieces for the menus. This is a nod to their love of art and it was such a delight for me to be able to combine my painting with my lettering.
We’re looking forward to the full wedding in the future, but for now enjoying these beautiful images from Renee Hollingshead of the intimate backyard celebration from last Fall!
